Visitors are usually the heaviest during the summer months where they typically gather at the South Rim. The South Rim is an average of 4,500 feet deep with a 7,000 foot elevation. It is 10 miles across in most places and a whopping 277 miles long. You can visit it on a mule, by foot or train.

Fall in Arizona is a wonderful place for bird watchers. You can enjoy hiking thorough one of many state parks while you look at the beautiful scenery and birds. Cochise County is known to be one of the finest bird watching locations in the whole United States. You can spot up to 400 various different bird species. A visit to the west coast of Arizona is likely to earn you a glimpse at some of the rarest birds in the country.

Sedona Arizona is breathtaking, no matter what the season is when you visit. The stunning red rock formations are just as beautiful with snow as they are when the grass is green.
