The boardroom is no place for training if you want your employees to return refreshed. Time and again you must explore going away as a group to improve your productivity. The objective of going away is so that people cannot maintain the same roles they play in the office. For instance some people are loud others are shy and some are just mellow. Other than relationships and communication, you should take your staff for such retreats when they need inspiration and rest. People work hard during the year and can become drained and fatigued. That can decrease the zeal they usually have for work they can also become gloomy and not perform at the standard rate. Less productivity is less income.

As an employer you should not be afraid to invest in your staff. Investing in them is like investing in your own company. So do what you must to keep them working well and keep adding on to their skills. Team building is good for company and employee development.
