Big things have bigger impact. Therefore, they should not be taken for granted. Smaller details may not have the same amount of impact. But this does not mean that they cannot do something. If added with the right messaging and strategy, a collective small info can already do a lot. Seasoned marketers know about this and are keen in making sure that even the smallest material that their company uses is created well.

One of the accessories by which messaging is seen is through business cards. In hotels, they can be applied on the hotel key card sleeves. Yes they are not the main focus. After all, they only act as a support to the main material. Still, this does not mean that you can already take it for granted.

If before traditional keys are still the main access materials used in motels and hotels, now, these electronic key cards are more practical. They are easy to use and generally safer. Sleeves may be optional but they are considered important part of the package because of the protection that the provide. Before you create one, take time to think of the following.

Right sizing. Being the sort of container to the key card, the sleeves has to house it right. Meaning it should not be too loose that the content may fall out. It should also not be too tight that fitting it in is difficult. Ideally, providing few centimeters extra is a good measurement.

Quality of paper. There are many options in the market so finding a good one should not be difficult. The challenge comes with the specific type that you want to employ. Will you preffer the glossy type or will the rough touch be better. Should you use the thinner ones or the thick kinds.

Logo. Any material used for business should never ever forget to carry the logo of the company. If you have enough space, you can include the full name of the hotel. Be reminded that the logo is your identity. One look and people will recognize you for it. Or, they can associate you with a unique service that your place is offering.

Design. The design is more than just the creativity of the person making it. The branding and the messaging can also affect it. You can go for a full sleeve colored design featuring an aerial view of the hotel for instance or a simpler design with the logo and front desk contact number. Its your decision.

Free space. This is optional and can even be left free especially if its covered with a colored design. However, if there is an important information you want to remind your guests such as tips and some details on the highlight activities offered by your hotel, then you can use the free space to inform them of it.

Accessories may have minimal impact on the marketing strategy of the company. But when done right, it can sure do something to somehow promote the service. Do not miss the chance to get some message across your guests. Use the sleeve wisely as an avenue to reach out to them.
